Passing of Dr. József Török, Ch.C.H.
The Hungarian Association of the Order of Malta informs with deep sadness and shock of the passing of our beloved confrere and Chaplain Dr. József Török, Ch.C.H. on January 24, 2020, aged 74, in Budapest.
Father József Török joined the Order in 2000 as Magistral Chaplain - from 2010 Conventual Chaplain ad honorem. He was one of our most active chaplains, he would have been the director of our renovated Chapel. He was a well-known Church historian, author of numerous books, articles and papers. He wrote an article of fundamental importance on the history of the Order of Malta in Hungary for our 2003 jubilee.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated in our Chapel on Thursday 30th January. His funeral will be held in his native town, Makó, on February 4.
