The TedEum youth group organises its first operational activity on WDP
Budapest, 18 November 2018. The "TedEum" youth group implemented its first charitable group activity on the occasion of the World Day of the Poor. Led by Hospitaller Loránd Erőss and by András Schumicky, the youngsters unpacked and warehoused for distribution three truckloads of donations that had just arrived from the Taufenkirchen branch of Malteser Hilfsdienst: furniture, household appliances and clothing to be distributed by the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order to the beneficiaries of its local branches.
The TedEum group was formed recently under the auspices of the Association, coordinated by Réka Erőss and Csilla Kállay. Meetings have so far consisted of TED-inspired talks and discussions, but the theoretical, formative activities are to be complemented with concrete charitable group initiatives.
