Malteser International publishes its 2017 annual report
Malteser International, the international humanitarian relief agency of the Order of Malta, has just published its 2017 annual report. The 57-page document provides an overview of the organisation’s strategies, major initiatives on five continents, and this past year’s successes and challenges. 2017 proved to be an eventful year, during which several new initiatives had to be launched to respond to new crises.
Malteser International is present in 31 countries with over 100 projects, mostly in the health field, for a total budget of 47.7 EUR. Assistance to refugees and internally displaced persons is a major concern, especially in the Middle East, East Asia and South Sudan.
